Friendly and outgoing staff made our stay pleasant.

We experienced a very rigid check-in process. The reception showed no flexibility about room arrangements for our family. We waited two hours for check-in and had to purchase an extra room, which was particularly frustrating after a long journey with tired children.

Good hotel with its private beach, lovely bar lounge area, and relaxing spa services. The staff even returned my forgotten earpods during my first stay, showing great care. I highly recommend it!

The beach here is undeniably stunning with its soft coral sand and turquoise waters, perfect for long walks. While some staff were friendly, service can be sluggish and disorganized, especially at dining. The hotel is charming but needs updates. amenities show signs of wear. You pay for the location, but service and food could improve.

had a fantastic stay at rocks! the 24-hour reception was super handy. our economy double room was clean, comfortable, and had great AC. getting takeaway breakfast for our early checkout was a nice touch, but a drink would have been perfect. also, the staff were incredibly helpful!

i returned to kendwa after a previous stay, and my time at rocks surpassed my expectations. the beach access and stunning views were unmatched, and the staff’s friendly service made me feel welcomed. the food was delicious, especially the local seafood dishes and daily specials!

Room had air conditioning, a private bathroom, and a lovely balcony overlooking the beach. Great spa facilities with various massage options like full body and neck massages. The restaurant served delicious meals with fresh seafood, and breakfast had a nice variety. Beautiful location with stunning sunset views right from our seating area.

The beach was stunning, and my kids could spend hours in the crystal-clear water. We enjoyed activities like snorkeling, which was amazing. The vibe was relaxing, and it was great to hang out with the local Maasai vendors offering unique crafts.

My kids wished for more activities tailored for families, like game zones or organized fun. It would have been nice to have a play area for them.

Unexpected delights at the beach

Waking up to the sound of waves and enjoying a beautiful sunrise each morning was pure bliss. The beach bars had great cocktails and lively music that kept the atmosphere vibrant.

However, the restaurant service was painfully slow, often making meals feel like an eternity. A few cleaners missed bringing fresh towels, leaving us a bit frustrated at times.

Our stay at Kendwa Rocks Hotel was simply wonderful! The beach access was fantastic, with beautiful views from our Pool Bungalow. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. Being able to have meals right by the beach was a highlight, along with the amazing sunsets we enjoyed every evening.

Limited breakfast options for dietary needs.

The lovely tropical gardens and spacious common areas made our stay enjoyable, making it easy for my husband and me to explore without a hassle. The staff was incredibly accommodating, ensuring we felt like royalty during our visit.
